Dane Howard is a Designer & Entrepreneur. As an executive and co-founder, he has built his career through helping companies design, prototype and build products. With a background in sequential media, he has focused much of his work on fast, agile prototyping within a context of a product story.
Dane has worked on an international scale with Directors of Design, Marketing and R&D labs & Senior Executives. He has played a principle design and management role in developing key strategies for Microsoft, Designworks | BMW, Major League Baseball, Quokka Sports, NBCOlympics and eBay. His work and travels have brought him experience in working both in Europe & Asia.
He recently co-founded VUVOX, which was acquired in 2008 by eBay. He now helps run user experience design and ‘preVIZ’ at eBay (eBay.com/design).
Dane is an author, painter and designer, and father. A personal website for his kids spawned a book entitled, The Future of Memories to help anyone better prepare, document and share their life’s stories. Dane frequently speaks on photography, design and surviving big companies.
