Kevin Nolan is responsible for managing consumer research and analysis activities within the Strategy Analytics User Experience Practice. He leads research projects which explore consumer behavior, motivations, experiences and choices within the wireless, broadband services and media, and automotive multimedia and communications industries.
He has 15 years experience managing research, analysis and consulting in the wireless, Internet and semiconductor industries, and has spent more than a decade analyzing the user experience of connected devices and services.
Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, he was a partner at web development and analysis firm Hexagon Internet. He began his career at Strategy Analytics’ predecessor firm, BIS Strategic Decisions, where he was a Senior Analyst in the company’s enabling technologies division.
He holds a BA (Hons) degree in International Business from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

Drawing on a combination of Strategy Analytics market-level and human-level research, this presentation will explore supply-side technology trends and evolving consumer behaviors in the home, in the vehicle and while mobile. By investigating the impact of rapid smartphone, social media, cloud services and machine intelligence adoption, the presentation will outline where UX is heading, the trends that will affect it, and the implications over the next 3-5 years for designing experiences across touchpoints including the mobile device, the connected TV and the connected vehicle.
