The Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF is an exciting new meeting and event destination, centered in UCSF’s new 43-acre life sciences campus for teaching and research. Located just south of downtown San Francisco, and convenient to Oakland and Berkeley, the Center is steps away from the AT&T ballpark, shopping, hotels and entertainment.
Getting There
Public transit takes you right to MBCC.
Hop on MUNI (rides are $2) – take the T-Third Metro line toward Mission Bay. Get off at the UCSF Mission Bay stop on 3rd Street opposite the campus, cross 3rd Street and walk up the foot path toward MBCC (looks like this) and follow the signs to MX.
Hop on a Shuttle?
There are multiple UCSF shuttles that provide access to the Mission Bay Conference Center (Green, Red, Gold, Blue, Gray, Lilac). The most frequently used are the Green Shuttle from Caltrain at 4th & King and the Red Shuttle from 16th Street BART. View the shuttle map and schedules, click here
Mission Bay also offers service to the Powell Street BART Station via the WEST Mission Bay Shuttle (not to be confused with the UCSF shuttles). It picks up at the back of MBCC across from the roundabout. It’s a small shuttle that goes every 15 minutes. View the shuttle map and schedules, click here
